Two Stock Rating Systems – Great for the Value Investor

On this page you will find two different systems developed by Stockbargains.net. Both of them are systems that will help you value and rate stocks in an efficient way.

“The Stock Bargain Method”, is a manual system to discover the most undervalued stocks in the market using “The Magic Formula Investing” stock screener as a basis (an established and well known stock ranking system developed by Joel Greenblatt) . The data is further processed to reveal the best bargains available in the market right now.

“The Market Adjusted Total Score” (MATS), is a system which gives a specific, quantified score for individual stocks. The model calculates a ratio between a company’s financial performance (last available accounting figures) and the historical development of its stock price. This score is meant to be compared to the score of other stocks, a sector or a market index. The system is brilliant when you need to get a stock ranked in relation to for example its competing stocks.
